Even the ghouls and goblins of the night that haunt Halloween have to go to work in the week, so thankfully our Hog Roast Walthamstow teams were able to bring Halloween dining to offices this week with our special Halloween corporate catering!

Now of course our clientele at these offices were perhaps not actually real ghouls and goblins, but with some our partner businesses getting into the Halloween spirit on Tuesday and Friday our team were able to help out with a special business lunch filled with plenty of spooky cheer. We often carry out business lunch services for our corporate customers, but this week their usual menus might have looked slightly different with a couple of new additions. Our mash potatoes, for example, were replaced with a special “monster mash”, and our hog roast replaced with a terrifying “pig’s head roast”. They were, in truth, the exact same foods as usual – there is little reason to actually change either our namesake hog roast nor our creamy mash potatoes – but we just wanted to help get into the spirit of the month a little.

Even our chefs contributed by donning a pair of devil horns or skeleton makeup to go along with their regular Hog Roast Walthamstow chef’s garb. The response to these special menu names were exactly what we were after. Customers either knowingly rolling their eyes or giving them a little chuckle – it’s the exact kind of silly fun that Halloween should be all about!

And what is even better for our corporate partners that used Hog Roast Walthamstow for their Halloween events this week is that they were able to make full use of our special spooky promotional treat. Throughout October we had encouraged customers to quote “trick” to our Hog Roast Walthamstow teams when ordering to validate them for a special treat at their event, regardless of it was a Halloween or October event. These events were able to claim their treat for these events, and we are sure they’ll agree that it was well worth it!

Halloween now may be over, but that just means we now move on to another themed season with plenty of Christmas fun to come! It’s the busiest time of year for a caterer, but at Hog Roast Walthamstow we are ready for it, so get calling!
