Hog Roast Lewisham – The Summer of Sport is Still Underway at Hog Roast Lewisham

It has been a massive summer of sport so far, and at Hog Roast Lewisham we have delighted in catering so much of it with many of your watch events! Though Wimbledon may be over and the England dream has come to an end at the World Cup, there’s still plenty more of the summer of sport to enjoy.

Over the last few weeks the Hog Roast Lewisham team have catered for primarily for Wimbledon events and World Cup matches. Last weekend saw the close of the All-England tennis grand slam tournament, with a scintillating match between Sinner and Zverev, with the Italian eventually turning things around to come out on top. With every rally, every forehand slice and ace, the Hog Roast Lewisham helped fuel the proceedings for events are Lewisham with our unique brand of roast catering. With such a marathon match, it was well needed.

We’ve also been around for all of the highs and lows of the FIFA World Cup. With many of you, we’ve watched the unique and brilliant stories of the tournament unfold. Our hog roasts were present as Cape Verde captured imaginations the world over by daring to dream through the groups and knockouts, taking on finalists Spain and Argentina without so much as flinching. We were with you on that late night at the Azteca were England’s brave 10 put it all on the line to clinch a dramatic win in difficult conditions. The Three Lions won’t be at the final, and football won’t be coming home, but the Hog Roast Lewisham team have brought home many brilliant matchday feasts all the same.

But it’s not yet over for the summer of sport! This weekend will see the close of the World Cup with the final on Sunday and the 3rd/4th place playoff on Saturday. The British Open also arrives to screens this weekend, and the Rugby Nations Championship continues at the weekend too, before carrying on again in November.
