A very important client booked us last week for his firms fifth birthday and asked if we could cater for 1,000 with Hog Roast Selhurst. Not a problem at all we told him as we have cooked for 5000 before so we are more than experienced for the job. We had been looking forward to the event all week and there is nothing we love more than large events! Lots of preparation before hand and as we left that morning the adrenaline was flowing and we were eager to get started. When we arrived we were shown into a huge drawing room and we first brought in the machines then the tables and chairs were dressed and all our staff did their bit some were tending to the meat chicken, lamb and beef were to be cooked, others did the salads, coleslaw and dips and we had some staff making hundreds of skewers a tedious job but worth the effort. All our Hog Roast Selhurst staff are professionals and work great as a team all helping one another to make sure all the food is cooked perfectly on time and it takes good organising and planning to make sure it does and we come well prepared. We were ready meat cooked sides on tables and staff lined and looking smart ready to serve as the doors swung open and guests rushing towards us.
Everyone was so intrigued and fascinated as our chef showed off his skills carving the Hog Roast Selhurst meat we sliced buns and helped guests make the most incredible sandwiches the chicken was so juicy and the beef so tender the lamb just fell apart and the smells were heavenly! The boss of the firm was very impressed and couldn’t thank us enough for our hard work and mentioned that he had an even bigger event coming up and we told him it wouldn’t be a problem at all. Everyone had such a good day and we left tired but very happy and the prospect of another large event was the icing on the cake. We like to push ourselves and we do so time and time again but with such ease.
