Today Hog Roast Camden were catering at a housewarming party in Camden a few miles from our base. Kim and Freddy had just moved into their first home together and after weeks of decorating and scouring the shops for the perfect furniture, they had finally got the house just how they wanted it. To celebrate they had invited close family and friends over to see the house for the first time since the renovations and to have a good old catch up.

Freddy was a chef himself and knew that for any good party there has to be good food. Having heard about Hog Roast Camden from friends and colleagues who had hired us he just knew that we could offer the ideal menu for their housewarming party.

For the day’s menu we were serving up a classic winter warmer; whole roasted hog, rosemary and garlic roasted leg of lamb and of course plenty of seasonal vegetables including butternut squash, carrots and roast potatoes. We were informed that a couple of the couples’ friends were doing Veganuary and so we would need to prepare some extra dishes for them. This was no problem and our chef easily created a delicious vegan menu that was capable of converting even the most avid meat eaters. For good measure, we also made sure that everything was gluten free in case of any dietary requirements so that everyone would be able to enjoy our Hog Roast Camden.

We arrived at the couple’s house and we were amazed at how they had transformed the place compared to the photos they showed us of when they moved in, it was almost unrecognisable.
