Hayley and her husband were both able to take a year off from their jobs and spend twelve months travelling the world, which has been a life goal of theirs forever. In this time they visited amazing sights across the globe, but were incredibly missed by their friends and family. The pair returned home this April and enjoyed a surprise party hosted by Hayley’s parents, at her family home. The event included 60 guests who were eager to say hello to the pair, as well as a delicious meal provided by Hog Roast Chingford. For the catering, we were hired to serve a delicious BBQ menu in the back garden, which would be ideal for ensuring that there was a dish on offer for everyone to enjoy.

On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Chingford team arrived at the private venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We began with the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, British beef burgers, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we served homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and tasty mac and cheese. The dishes were all served buffet style, allowing the guests to each create a delicious lunch from what we had to offer. Our catering was a great addition to the event and it was great to see so many people enjoying a hearty and delicious meal.
