Pulled Pork and a Brew with Hog Roast Haringey

You’ve heard of pie and a pint, but what about a pig and a pint with Hog Roast Haringey!

This past week, Hog Roast Haringey were proud to join for an exciting launch event with a new corporate partner of ours that have only recently begun their new venture as a local microbrewery. To celebrate the official launch of their first beer, our new partner invited out early investing customers and local guests to join for their official launch event in conjunction with a Hog Roast Haringey catered service. Being an independent start-up ourselves, we were only all too happy to join someone else for their first steps too and celebrate the right way with a pint and a pulled pork roll.

The launch event was billed as a “Pig and a Pint” event with the brewery offering out free samples of their new special brew for all attendees. These pints would then also be served alongside our own freshly made pulled pork rolls, taken from our signature whole hog roast made fresh that day.

There was a sizeable crowd that took up the invite making for an excellent launch event for our new partners. The combination of a fresh brew and a fresh hog roast roll certainly went down with a treat with guests, so much so that we have since considered making this a fairly regular event with our new brewing partner. Of course it is an obvious if elegant combination: delicious fresh pork served hot to be washed down with a fresh pint – it’s an easy match made in heaven!

As an independent business ourselves we are excited where our new partner goes with their brewing plans. Being entirely biased, we loved their new beer and think it will be an excellent entry to the local market, especially when served along with a pulled pork roll! For any future events or brew to come, we at Hog Roast Haringey can only hope that we can join in for the fun again too, because this first pig and a pint event was a blast!
