Hog Roast Camberwell Celebration for a New Driver!

At the age of 37 and with five failed driving tests behind her, Sue was on the verge of giving up. She was feeling so frustrated that she always seemed to fall at the final hurdle no matter how hard she tried. Her husband Keith eventually persuaded her to give it one more go and gave her the best incentive ever-if she passed on her sixth attempt, he would throw a party to celebrate and reward her with a slow-roasted pork treat courtesy of Hog Roast Camberwell! This seemed to do the trick and with fresh determination, Sue was over the moon when she was given the good news by…

Hog Roast Beckton for a City Centre Rooftop Garden

Amid all the hustle, bustle, noise and crowds that are all a part of city life, it’s often difficult to imagine being able to find a tranquil green space to have some peace and quiet and get away from it all. A group of innovative urban gardeners who grow all manner of things on their balconies and window ledges, started to think on a much grander scale and with the help of local council funding, set up their very own rooftop Eden on top of one of the city’s buildings! They didn’t want it to be a secret garden though; they wanted as many busy commuters and city dwellers as…

Hog Roast Abbey Wood for a Mods and Rockers 40th Birthday!

Since Quadraphenia was her husband Paul’s favourite film of all time, it seemed only fitting to Emma that she should throw him a ‘Mods versus Rockers’ party to celebrate his 40th birthday! Unfortunately, Sting couldn’t be there to help him celebrate, but luckily for Paul, Hog Roast Abbey Wood were in attendance to do the catering! Although he was too young to be part of the craze at the time, Paul had always considered himself something of a ‘mod’. He was understandably over the moon with the theme of the party, even more so when he browsed our menus and saw that we had exciting options to suit not just two…

Hog Roast Whitechapel – London Marathon!

Hog Roast Whitechapel were delighted to be asked to cater for around 50 athletes and guests at a post-London Marathon private party raising money for Macmillan Trust with food scheduled to be served around an hour after the iconic race finished. The London Marathon was first run in 1981 and has become one of the most famous events in London attracting thousands of spectators and participants and we knew that this would be a challenging situation to set up in good time and in a restricted environment but planning and preparation was the key for this to work and we liaised closely with the event organisers to ensure that we…

When we arrived we were shown into a huge drawing room and we first brought in the machines then…

Hog Roast Hornsey For A Winning Quiz Team!

Everyone loves a good pub quiz and although it’s the taking part that counts, everyone also loves a decent prize at the end of it to make expending all that mental energy and having all those differences of opinions with your team mates worthwhile. Sometimes though, pub quizzes can fall short in prize department (tokens for a beer you don’t like, a voucher for a free dessert next Thursday lunchtime when you’re at work etc), which inevitably leaves the victors feeling a bit disappointed. Happily, this was not the case at the pub we were in last week however, because the prize for the winning team was none other than…
